Smashing expectations one soaring harmony at a time, these women take on the western world’s greatest male musicians and reinvent them as sassy cabaret.

This is Michael Jackson, AC/DC, The Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, Leonard Cohen, Queen and Bon Jovi as you’ve never heard them before; masculinity mixed up with soulful female vocals and a little ridiculous dancing.

Lady Sings it Better are heading to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012! Help them take off with a tax deductible donation for the tour, through the Australian Business Arts Foundation.

With backgrounds in varying musical styles, from opera and musical theatre to jazz, folk and pop, these musicians create surprising and playful renditions of masculine anthems, inviting the audience to discover new ideas in the lyric and think about how a song can change meaning when sung in a female voice.

After sell out runs in Sydney and Adelaide, Lady Sings it Better setting their sights on the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012, where they will be performing at Gilded Balloon.
